The area covered by the Wexford Group of parishes covers the coastal area of Curracloe, the county town of Wexford and the surrounding farming countryside. St. Iberius Church, a magnificently restored Georgian building, is open daily throughout the year. Wexford Town, capital town of the south-eastern part of Ireland, is one of the most ancient towns in Ireland. Wexford is marked as the Gaelic name Menapia Loc Gearmain, a further indication of the town's antiquity. Castlebridge is built on a tributary at the northern most point of the inner cove to Wexford Harbour and is 3 miles north of Wexfort town. The population of this area is around 750, which is steadily on the increase, due to its proximity to Wexford and Rosslare Harbour.
