Hi there from Citrus!

We hope that you’re all well and are looking forward to the long, lazy summer days. 

To keep you all occupied, we’re hosting another fantastic night for all those aged between 20-35 years.  Our Lock & Key night will be held in the Gandon Inn, Portlaoise, on 15th August, from 8.30 p.m. sharp. 

[For those of you who have never had the opportunity to have this enjoyable experience, Lock & Key is a little like speed-dating, but with a difference.  Guys will be given a lock on entry to the event and the ladies will get a key.  The aim of the game is finding your match in the quickest time.  Prizes will be awarded to the first five couples who find their match].

Tickets cost 15 euro and a complimentary glass of wine and finger-food will be provided throughout the night.  All are welcome to participate in the evening but we will need to take bookings in advance in order to ensure that we have the right balance of males and females. Please find an application form at the bottom of this page that we require you to fill out and return to us with a deposit of 10 euro before 6th August.  You can contact any one of us for more information (details at bottom of page). 

The evening will end with a disco from 10.30 p.m. and everyone is invited (no booking necessary for disco) to dance their socks off ‘til the small hours of the morning.

We hope that you're all well and that our recent Spring Flingers have recovered after their night of banter and chat!  



On 5th April, we held Spring Fling, a night of speed dating fun in the Gandon Inn, Portlaoise.  Participants from all over Ireland took part in the exciting event and it proved to be a fantastic night.  It kicked off at 7 p.m. where everyone was invited to share in a glass of wine before the bell went at 8 p.m. to signal the start of the event.  Nerves were soon dispelled as participants got into the swing of things and tried to ask and say as much as they could to their dates in the allotted three minutes.  Reports afterwards were extremely positive and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves.  From 10.30pm, a great crowd of disco-goers joined us in partying the night away until 2 a.m.  All-in-all, the night was a brilliant success and thanks to everyone who supported us in our very first event.
